Information we collect

Information you provide

When you ask for an estimate or contact us, we collect the details you submit. Depending on the form or conversation, that can include:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Property or project location
• Project scope, such as the type of construction, remodeling, repair, or custom home work, timing, and anything else you choose to describe

You may give us this information through:

• Website inquiry forms, including the free-estimate form embedded from LeadConnector, the project-details contact form, and the custom home inquiry form
• Phone calls, text messages, and email
• Social media lead ads, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Lead Ads and Google lead forms

If you opt in to text messages, we also keep the phone number you provided, a record of that consent, and your later choices to continue or opt out.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the website or arrive from an ad, we and our advertising and analytics partners may automatically collect technical data, including:

• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• IP address and general location inferred from it
• Pages viewed, links clicked, the referring site or ad, and the date and time of the visit
• Cookie identifiers, pixel events, and similar analytics or advertising identifiers

This technical data is collected with cookies, pixels, and analytics tools, including the Meta Pixel used with Facebook and Instagram ads, and Google Ads and Google Analytics tags.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Provide free estimates
• Respond to inquiries submitted on the website, by phone, by text, by email, or through lead ads
• Schedule and perform construction, remodeling, repair, and custom home work
• Provide customer support about an active or completed project
• Send calls or text messages you request or consent to about your estimate, schedule, or job
• Measure advertising effectiveness, including which ads lead to site visits, calls, and form submissions
• Keep the website secure, reduce spam, and maintain ordinary business, insurance, and tax records

We use inquiry details to talk with you about the project you described. We do not use them to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Advertising, cookies & tracking technologies

We use third-party tools to learn how people find the site and whether our advertising is working. Those tools may include:

• Meta Pixel and Facebook and Instagram advertising tools, including measurement connected to Meta Lead Ads
• Google Ads, including conversion measurement
• Google Analytics and similar Google measurement tags

These tools may set or read cookies, pixels, and device identifiers. They can recognize a browser over time, count visits, and help us show Total Construction Idaho ads to people who visited the site or who may be interested in construction, remodeling, or custom homes in our service area. How to manage cookies and opt out of targeted ads

• Browser settings. You can block, delete, or limit cookies in your browser. Blocking all cookies may affect how the site works.
• Meta. Manage Facebook and Instagram ad preferences at Facebook Ad Preferences (opens in a new tab), and in the settings of the Facebook and Instagram apps.
• Google. Control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings (opens in a new tab). Google describes its advertising tools at How Google uses advertising data (opens in a new tab). A browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics is available from Google Analytics Opt-out (opens in a new tab).
• Industry opt-out pages. You can opt out of some interest-based ads from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (opens in a new tab) and the Network Advertising Initiative (opens in a new tab).
• Mobile devices. Use your device setting to limit ad tracking or opt out of ads personalization.

Opting out of targeted advertising limits personalized ads. You may still see general ads, and we may still contact you about an inquiry you sent us.

Information sharing & SMS / phone privacy

Total Construction Idaho does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates. A vendor that only transmits messages for us may process a number to deliver those messages, and that vendor may not use it for its own marketing.

We share information only in these limited ways:

• Service providers. Companies that host the website, deliver email, store inquiry records, or measure ads process information only so they can perform those services for us. LeadConnector stores submissions from the embedded free-estimate form, including a phone number and any text-message consent you give on that form, so we can follow up on the estimate.
• Advertising platforms. Meta and Google may receive technical event data through pixels and tags, such as a page view or a form submission, so we can measure advertising. We do not provide those platforms with your mobile number or SMS opt-in data for their own marketing.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or when we believe disclosure is needed to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfer. If the business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer with it, still subject to this policy.

Calls and text messages

If you give us a phone number on a website form, on a Meta or Google lead form, or during a call or email, we may call or text you about that inquiry. Where a form or conversation asks for permission to send text messages, we send those messages only if you opt in.

• Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and project.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Consent to receive text messages is not required to get an estimate or to hire Total Construction Idaho.
• Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us by phone or email using the details below.
• After you opt out, we may send one message confirming the opt-out. We will not send further marketing texts to that number unless you opt in again.

Data security, retention, and your rights

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No website, email, or text transmission is completely secure. Use the contact method you are comfortable with.

Retention

We keep inquiry and customer information for as long as we need it to respond to you, perform the work, handle follow-up or warranty questions, and meet tax, insurance, and legal recordkeeping duties. We then delete it or strip details that identify you. Cookie and analytics data is kept according to your browser settings and the retention settings of the tools we use.

Your rights, opt-out, and deletion requests

You may:

• Ask us what personal information we have from your inquiries
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete personal information you submitted
• Opt out of marketing emails by contacting us
• Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
• Opt out of targeted advertising with the cookie and ad controls described above
• Ask us not to call you for marketing

To request access, a correction, or deletion, call (208) 915-0346 or email sohlerjo1@gmail.com. Tell us your name and the phone number or email you used so we can find the record. We may ask for enough detail to confirm the request is yours, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may keep information we are required to retain for legal, tax, insurance, security, or dispute reasons, and a brief record of the request itself. Deleting an inquiry record does not by itself remove data already held by Meta, Google, or your mobile carrier. Use their own settings for that.

Children

Our website and ads are meant for adults who need construction services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or advertising tools change. When we do, we will change the effective and last-updated date at the top of this page. The version posted here is the current one.
